        Step 1: Visit EPFO member portal and log in
        Step 2: Under ”Manage” click on ”Contact Details”
        Step 3: Tick the ”Change Mobile No.” checkbox and enter your new mobile number in the two empty fields
        Step 4: Click on the ”Get Authorization PIN” button
        Step 5: An OTP will be sent to the new number which must be entered in the space that is provided

        Details on the PF portal must match details on your Aadhaar Card. Before you go on and make corrections on the PF portal, please ensure that your Aadhaar card has all the correct details.

        To make changes in Aadhaar:

        You can update your Address online in Self Service Update Portal (SSUP). For other details updates such as Demographic details (Name, Address, DoB, Gender, Mobile Number, Email) as well as Biometrics (Finger Prints, Iris & Photograph) in Aadhaar you will have to visit Permanent Enrolment Center.

      I login into EPFO website for the first time and I chose the option forgot password as mobile number is also not correct so I tried your second way to update mobile number like entering Name,DOB and Gendor but I am facing below error:-

        While seeding the details such as Name, DOB etc., it should be as per the details reported in the PF records. To get the details, you can contact your employer.

      Hi sir,
      MY PF account is not linked with Aadhaar. When I am trying to change my MOB No. through Forget Password option in PF portal to change MOB No. it is asking for Aadhaar No., as where the Aadhaar No. or PAN No. which were not linked.

        You should know that Aadhaar is mandatory in order to avail online facilities. Every employee needs to upload and complete KYC with documents such as Aadhaar and PAN.

      Hi Rishabh Ranjan,

      I have followed your below instructions.

      I cannot login until my password is reset and to get that done, I need to change my phone number.

      So I gave ‘No’ to the below question

      “Do you wish to send OTP on the above mobile number? : NO”

      And then it throws me below error

      “Your UAN is not linked with AADHAAR, first member has to link his/her AADHAAR with UAN through his/her employer or eKYC portal”

      And when I go to eKYC portal, I cannot login since reset is pending which is taking me to Step 1. I am in a circle now. Is there a get out pass from this situation

        In order to change the mobile number, you need to select “YES” when you see the following:“Do you wish to send OTP on the above mobile number?”

        Once logging in with your UAN, you will be able to seed your KYC details such as Aadhaar, PAN, bank account details etc.

      I lost my pf registered phone number and my aadhar name is not matching with my pf account,I forgotten my pf password,I contacted my employer they said in pf name is updated as per my pan card and not as per my aadhar.

        You can update your current mobile number by logging into the EPFO portal with your UAN and password.

        You can also submit a request for a change/correction of your name on the EPFO portal. This can be done after logging in, navigating to “Modify” and entering details as per your Aadhaar Card.

        To link Aadhaar to your UAN, log into the PF portal and upload your Aadhaar Number as part of KYC. In case you’re unable to seed your Aadhaar with your UAN, you can approach your employer for seeding your Aadhaar number as part of KYC through employer login.

      I lost my PF registered mobile number, My Mobile number also linked with AADHAAR, I’m following your steps one by one but when I’m entered my Aadhar card number for validation they need AADHAAR linked mobile number for send OTP. I Seen many of videos how easily they are doing but in my SITUATION they need my AADHAAR mobile linked number that number is my old one.

        Hi Pawan,

        There is an option to change the mobile number on the PF portal. As for your Aadhaar, you can visit Aadhaar Regional Facility in order to upload your latest mobile number. Only then can you access the PF portal and avail online benefits.

      MY PF account is not linked with Aadhaar / PAN. Even I forgot my password. My MOB No. which was linked to my PF account is not available and nobody were attending.
